[02:29:52] <Duc> so I took down some date for the raw counts while completing one full rev of the rotary. I used a dial indicator to verify the complete rotation by measure a groove to perfect flatness
[02:30:19] <Duc> thought normally the rotary can only rotate 9999 times depending on the INI file
[02:31:53] <archivist> make that ini file number somewhat bigger 9999999999999
[02:32:29] <archivist> it is an arbitary limit in most cases
[02:33:20] <Duc> first measurement was a 7.5706 degrees witha raw count = -304,013 and -341.4294 degrees raw counts was 5,593,918. Math wise the display went 349 degrees but went 360 in reality. Total raw counts of 5,897,994, with a encoder scale of 16,384

I have an encoder hooked up to 0 position and I don.t see encoder counts. There is 5vdc at pins 3 & 6 on the connecter. Single end encoder and A,B,X are in the right terminals.
