[14:27:47] <ichudov__> Just wanted to report, on my servo tuning efforts: I almost always now get a following error under 0.001", and when machining at slow speeds the following error is now WAY UNDER 0.001". I interpret this as, the servo system at reasonable speeds (3-10 IPM) is not a source of inaccuracy.

[21:30:55] <andypugh> Talking of threads, I have been rebuilding my "bargain" Kurt vice. That uses 1.125 and 1.5 x 8tpi threads, presumably to avoid anyone having the right tap to clean out the threads.
