It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...
How are your studies of the fpga going?
slow. have not actually hooked it up yet ;)
did it rain up there all day yesterday?
Mostly fog and drizzle
snow melted, water all over the ice on the lake.
yah - pretty much the same here. fog all day
have not blown up the h-bridge yet - so happy with that.
did they talk to you about the mesa group buy?
I saw it.
That is a good deal.
I've got all the cards on the list I saw.
I do want to pick up one of the breakouts that they made for Aram.
really? how do you like them? have you played with them all?
Yes. I like them very much.
I run a Sherline mill with the 4 axis 100 watt card.
you had them at the workshop didn't you? I think you where showning them to me.
The breakout that Mesa built for Aram uses 4 25 pin plugs with standard connections to the Servo Dynamics AC drives.
I've got to get drives and try it.
I've got access to a prototype mill from a factory in China
Weighs about a ton.
24x14x18 work envelope.
All I've got to do is find the money for drives and such.
You going to get a 5i20?
* alex_joni is in sweden
for today ;)
I'll be back home (and online) tomorrow night
You working on machines there?
nope.. some project
mostly programming oriented :)
* alex_joni gotta go
so you can name signals the same as the pins?
newsig siggen.0.cosine float
linkps pwmgen.0.value siggen.0.cosine
linkps siggen.0.cosine siggen.0.cosine
I think linkpp names the sig the same as the first pin in the list.
"linkpp siggen.0.cosine pwmgen.0.value" might yield the same looking connection.
