[23:24:18] <andypugh> The way I made my gripper was to hold 4 squares of steel in the 4-jaw chuck and bore out the inner profile. I also did things I am now vague about with registers and pressed-on sleeves to make it all work, but the basic idea is to _start_ with 4 separate bits of metal.
