hmmm. has ygdan found a bug in our packages?
I don't see glib in the control.in file
it's pulled in by gtk
I was wondering how it would be possible to not have glib on a system with gtk/gnome
and gimp and ...
it's the development package that is missing
yes, I assume so
[Global Notice] Hi all, we appear to be having some issues with one of our sponsors currently -- as a result we're temporarily lacking services. Hopefully things will be back to normal shortly. Apologies for the inconvenience and thank you using freenode
Hi all. Services have returned from a backup location, though we're still working on the issue with the sponsor. We should be back to normal in due course. Apologies again, and thanks for using freenode!
aj12 boots fine here
BigJohnT: aj13 is up ;)
darn, I'll have to go back to work to download it
alex_joni: does the 6.06 and the 8.04 both have 2.3.0?
no, only 8.04
BigJohnT: you don't have to download again
the only difference is if you plan to install it
if you do install aj12, then you end up with the linuxcnc.org repo twice
once in /etc/apt/sources.list and onces in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/emc2.list
remove either reference, and it should be ok
ok, I'm going by the other shop Saturday to finish up my tractor parts so I'll just get a new one.
should I make it a bit more clear on the web page which one is with 6.06 and 8.04?
BigJohnT: we should start removing references to 6.06
don't create confusion for users
ok, that makes sense
new users should get 8.04 and not have to scratch their heads
