jepler: does the emc2 git repo still work?
there's a git repo? sweet...
seb_kuzminsky: don't run away too enthusiastic about it :P
heh... i've slurped the emc cvs into a private bzr repo and i'm working in that and syncing to cvs when appropriate
alex_joni: it's not regularly updated.
alex_joni: so in that sense, no, it doesn't work
when I was updating it, I sometimes found differences between the cvs and git repos that I couldn't understand
jepler: I merely asked if the git address should work
(not that the content is sane..)
alex_joni: yes, I think so
did you try it?
got the addy handy?
I tried to add it to a stat thingie.. but it didn't want to accept it
I don't think you should add it to any public statistics thing
looks like the emc2.git repository is broken anyhow
ok, then I won't
er, I guess I had the wrong path to start with and it is "working". the git url is git://git.unpy.net/emc2.git -- but I still don't want it to be publicized
it was last updated on 2008-10-29
oh, can we look inside?
then we'll know what happens this year
2007, I meant :-P
awww, that's no fun :D
just for fun I updated that repo
EMC: 03seb 07TRUNK * 10emc2/src/hal/drivers/mesa7i43-firmware/source/ (7 files): This is where the gpio firmware sources belong.
i'm having cvs trouble
in fs speak, I'm trying to move src/hal/drivers/mesa7i43-firmware/source to src/hal/drivers/mesa7i43-firmware/gpio/source
but cvs doesnt have mv, so i "cvs rm"-ed the old stuff and "cvs add"-ed the new stuff
but it's not moving it
i feel like i'm on crazy pills
oh i see...
EMC: 03seb 07TRUNK * 10emc2/src/hal/drivers/mesa7i43-firmware/gpio/source/ (7 files): Put gpio firmware files in their proper place. Sorry about the confusion.
i'm a retard
a retard who hates CVS
about your message: yes, be careful to put files in the right place and then not move them
but in this case no important history was lost, so I don't see any problem
cvs update: src/hal/drivers/mesa7i43-firmware/source/main.vhd is no longer in the repository
cvs handles this fine, no need for an admin to do anything
everyone uses -d -P with cvs update so they won't even see the now-empty directory
