and then there was one. well - other than jmk's hair.. maybe
there are still 4
we keep talking about leaving for food, and not doing it
I hope you guys take separate vehicles. We can't afford loosing you guys all at once. (was that selfish?_
free software always lives on after its current developers are gone...
I saw one image from the web cam. Looks great. Wish I was there.
in the topic
hey rayh - what are you doing somewhere else? ;)
you're missing the constant surface speed/feed per rev demos
rayh: we wish you were here too.
woo - whoo - my telescope seems to work!
the mazak's fans work
Nice. where they not before?
what was that? I can't hear you with the Mazak fans running
skunkworks: after the PC that's the next thing they powered on..
You guys have fun... night
Have a good day guys. Try to catch you this evening.
Good morning :)
do you guys feel like your being watched?
I was a bit wrong about the valgrind magic sequence -- it replaces all the registers with the arguments, then does a series of "roll" instructions that have no net effect on the register contents
so the registers and flags are destroyed
kalarm is a good tool. set it for 1 hr then stand up and walk around the table, just once. some of you guys are sitting stationary for many many hours at a time ( signed mom )
tomp: we actually get up at 30 seconds into each minute .. you just can't see it
dr nyquist recommended that method
I think there should be a live audio feed from the fest also...
hm I guess we didn't backport the "don't silently unlink" change to 2.1.6...
pretty crowded there..
would you guys have a problem posting the link to the camera on the fest thread on cnczone?
I don't see why not
I figured it would be more exposure...
I should probably ask swp first
his dreamhost account would have to absorb the bandwidth
he says he has oodles of it, but a hundred people with browsers open, and auto-refreshing a 40K pic every minute, might add up
Let me know. :)
jmkasunich: no nearly enough
DH has about 4TB of traffic / month
I seriously doubt you can reach that with 40k pics even 1000 times / minute
it works out to about 57M per day per user, assuming the user goes to the site and lets it auto-refresh once per minute all day
the limit is 6T/month, = 200G/day = 3500 users watching ;-)
skunkworks: go ahead and post it ;-)

jepler: does it seem busier than last year?
skunkworks: not wildly more busy, no
The webcam wasn't in a good location last year - so I cannot gauge the traffic.
the webcam never really worked last year
I remember it worked for a little while. :)
jeff is really photogenic today
alex_joni: I doubt that
actually you and chris ;)
what are you guys working on?
classicladder bugs at the moment
gonna do more with the mazak, but probably a bit later in the day
alex_joni: there's a classicladder bug you can chase if you want
alex_joni: load classicladder_rt, then load classicladder -- it crashes
(it works OK if you load a ladder program with --nogui in between)
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

(gdb) print ScanRung
$2 = 141456
14156 may be an uninitialized value or something
* alex_joni never looked at the code :/
alex_joni: it will make you cry
I mean, it has its own unique style
especially at 00:38
int iCurrentLanguage = SectionArray[ InfosGene->CurrentSection ].Language;
that is sooo useless to me :(
InfosGene is in SHM?
alex_joni: I think so
alex_joni: it can wait a day
sure feels like a problem with the initial value
as you said.. gotta wait till tomorrow
good night all
