the question is, who will fix mini's Z\nE\nR\nO\n\nA\nL\nL button to use the homing sequence when it's defined...
what does Z\nE\nR\nO\n\nA\nL\nL do?
mini was intended to be used only with sherlines with no switches
you jog to touch off, then hit zero or zeroall
they are implemented as homes, but with no switches, all they do is say "ok, I'm home"
adding a real home sequence to a machine running mini is a mistake IMO
it appears Z\nE\nR\nO\n\nA\nL\nL does much more than homing
clears offsets and stuff too?
I think it even writes the var file
* jmkasunich hides
drat - 2.1 is doing a full build
yeah it does rewrite the var file and other things
I'm not touching it
with a ten foot pole?
it's not like that - I'm just not sure I could get it right, since I don't really understand it
I guess the var file stuff does kind of scare me
* cradek shrugs
