[Global Notice] Hi all. We just experienced a problem with a main rotation server. It's out of contact and has been removed from rotation. The users should slowly return on other servers. Apologies for the difficulties, and thank you for using freenode!
There were errors during the LaTeX run.
One error detected
You should try to fix it.
cradek: try from LyX, it'll tell you what the problem is
actually you'll have a Problem! or Error! (gray thingie) somewhere in the document
you need to click that
I don't see that
you need to be carefull ot to miss it..
what doc is this?
/usr/bin/lyx-qt --export pdf2 ../docs/src/Master_HAL.lyx
I'm sure there's no error in the file when I scroll around
cradek: no, you need to open the GUI Lyx to get that
yes I did
then go to Export->pdflatex
I opened this master_HAL file in lyx-qt
still from the GUI
pdf2 = pdflatex?
awfull way to hide it I guess..
pdf = pdf
pdflatex = ... (jmk figured out pdf2)
man I hate lyx
join the club :D
it sounds like a nice idea
the power of latex and it doesn't frighten babies
jepler: the commercial sure is nice
ok I finally found the error: LaTeX Error: File `bookman.sty' not found.
my latex installation is incomplete maybe
* alex_joni has no idea what a 'bookman.sty' is
a latex style file
easy enough to fix once I found the hidden error
yep, that fixed it.
I wish I knew if I can edit the lyx file without messing up lyx
If it's just to fix typos and not change markup, I bet you can
which lyx file?
oh, you mean from another GUI?
any of them
or text editor?
with a text editor
right.. just don't change too many formatiing options
yay for cvs
right.. we can always revert or diff ;)
argh, I worked on this for what seemed like hours yesterday and only got through page 13
cradek: it's a long document..
[Global Notice] Hi all. If you've been disconnected by a kiddie using the DC C exploit, please reconnect to freenode using port 8001, instead of the default port (6667). Thanks.

something is crashing if you are running the sample configs..

cradek: back from testing.. never seen something like this
milltask segfaults, and afterwards I get kernel BUG's
kernel BUG in header file at line 248
kernel BUG at panic.c:1521
invalid operand: 0000
it seems somehow there are some messages about bad iniAxis setups, backlash settings & such
* alex_joni heads to bed
