time to pack up....
been a very busy and fun week
so things went well
the mazak can change tools now
fenn showed me a few pics
still a few rough corners, but its 90% of the way there
we tried to make a movie, dunno how it will come out
I heard there was an encoder acting as a pendant
and a lot of threading going on
jon e said he did some rigid tapping
yes, chris (cradek) had the NIST lathe here and making lots of threads
didn't know about jon's tapping, thats cool
Hey john - it was nice meeting you. Sorry I could not shake your hand before I left.
nice to meet you too
I kinda dissappeared this afternoon (for sleep)
did you see the spirals chris cut?
yeah, pretty cool
time for me to start packing things up
I need to go to bed early tonight, long drive tomorrow
bye guys, I'm packing up too
As of 2006-05-20 at 02:25 Pacific, CVS is down for projects that start with the letters m, n and q for developer access and letters j and l for pserver access. More information will be provided here as we get it. -- sourceforge
maybe we should make a histogram to determine how to rename our project so we can use their cvs most reliably
trip was uneventful?
haven't started the trip home yet
that's what today is for
I figured the "packing up" ment going home. My mistake :)
two separate steps
you saw how much stuff cradek had, what a pain to re-load it in the car
I bet it didn't fit the way it did coming down. Stuff seems to increase in size
but I hope cradek'll be ready and we'll go get breakfast in the next ten mins or so
then hit the road
sometime tonight you can ask how the drive home went
how many hours?
we have about 5.5 or so
the drive up took from 2 to 9 so I guess it must have been around 7 hours
Drive safe. Look out for the idiots :)
google says; 409 mi (about 6 hours 55 mins)
oh I see idiots everywhere I look
could you going to post some of those pictures of the scroll online sometime?
yeah .. I'll probably give them to chris and let him post them on his blog (http://timeguy.com)
sorry about that sentence - I think my brain shifted gears half way though
whatever - I will shut up now.
don't sweat it
I've got a small problem with starting emc on mazak. It seems to require sudo.
I tried sudo make setuid but no better.
