[00:07:02] <joe9> no, I have never done "bluing". will see if I can do it.
[00:08:37] <JT-Shop> you smear a thin coat of something grease like on one part and put the two parts together and remove with care then see what areas the grease transferred to the dry part
[00:09:04] <JT-Shop> that shows you what parts touched
[00:10:51] <JT-Shop> the process is systematic to find the actual problem part, so if you mark the chuck and the shaft and assemble and indicate then rotate 1/4 turn and repeat you can figure if the chuck is bad or the taper or spindle is bad

[03:43:21] <hatch789> anyone have any idea why my 7i49 board would not have any DC signal coming out for my servo drives? I just got the resolvers working today with PCW's help, but my servo drivers are not producing any voltage to drive my servos
