[14:20:21] <skunkworks> did it rain up there all day yesterday?
[14:20:44] <rayh> Mostly fog and drizzle
[14:20:59] <rayh> snow melted, water all over the ice on the lake.
[14:21:01] <skunkworks> yah - pretty much the same here. fog all day
[14:22:04] <skunkworks> have not blown up the h-bridge yet - so happy with that.
[14:22:17] <rayh> Great.
[14:22:32] <skunkworks> did they talk to you about the mesa group buy?
[14:22:42] <rayh> I saw it.
[14:22:56] <rayh> That is a good deal.
[14:23:00] <skunkworks> very
[14:23:22] <rayh> I've got all the cards on the list I saw.
[14:23:49] <rayh> I do want to pick up one of the breakouts that they made for Aram.
[14:23:58] <skunkworks> really? how do you like them? have you played with them all?
[14:24:14] <rayh> Yes. I like them very much.
[14:24:36] <rayh> I run a Sherline mill with the 4 axis 100 watt card.
[14:24:40] <skunkworks> you had them at the workshop didn't you? I think you where showning them to me.
[14:24:49] <rayh> Yes.
[14:25:40] <rayh> The breakout that Mesa built for Aram uses 4 25 pin plugs with standard connections to the Servo Dynamics AC drives.
[14:25:53] <skunkworks> nice
[14:26:04] <rayh> I've got to get drives and try it.
[14:26:35] <rayh> I've got access to a prototype mill from a factory in China
[14:26:55] <rayh> Weighs about a ton.
[14:27:22] <rayh> 24x14x18 work envelope.
[14:27:38] <rayh> All I've got to do is find the money for drives and such.
[14:28:44] <rayh> You going to get a 5i20?
[14:30:54] <alex_joni> hi ray
[14:31:02] <rayh> Hi Alex.
[14:31:06] <alex_joni> * alex_joni is in sweden
[14:31:10] <alex_joni> for today ;)
[14:31:19] <alex_joni> I'll be back home (and online) tomorrow night
[14:33:08] <rayh> You working on machines there?
[14:33:31] <alex_joni> nope.. some project
[14:33:36] <alex_joni> mostly programming oriented :)
[14:33:43] <alex_joni> * alex_joni gotta go
[14:35:15] <rayh> see you
[14:38:59] <alex_joni> bye guys
[14:41:25] <skunkworks> so you can name signals the same as the pins?
[14:41:44] <skunkworks> # signals
[14:41:56] <skunkworks> newsig siggen.0.cosine float
[14:42:04] <skunkworks> # links
[14:42:15] <skunkworks> linkps pwmgen.0.value siggen.0.cosine
[14:42:23] <skunkworks> linkps siggen.0.cosine siggen.0.cosine
[14:43:13] <rayh> I think linkpp names the sig the same as the first pin in the list.
[14:45:57] <rayh> "linkpp siggen.0.cosine pwmgen.0.value" might yield the same looking connection.
