[07:27:40] <Jymmm> is there a Q&D to get keystick up and running?
[07:28:28] <anonimasu_> I have no idea, but it should be as simple as configuring the stuff in the .nml file
[07:28:32] <anonimasu_> and just starting it
[07:30:07] <Jymmm> anonimasu : ok thanks. I 'll look at it tomorrow.
[07:30:10] <Jymmm> G'Night
[12:16:18] <Jacky^> morning
[17:20:52] <alex_joni> yo an0n.. are you around?
[18:39:26] <Jacky^> hi
[19:02:24] <Jymmm> Hey Folks!
[19:10:26] <Jymmm> * Jymmm lights the tumbleweed rolling by on fire and grabs the marshmellows!
[19:21:15] <fenn> burn baby burn!
[19:22:34] <Jymmm> It's kinda funny actually... Light that sucker up, tehen a gust of wind gets it moving again.... looks like a HUGE ball of fire rolling down the road!
[19:24:58] <Jymmm> You basically have to live in the desert to try it, but does look very very cool. I just wish I had a camcorder back then.
[19:25:26] <Jymmm> these tumbleweeds get to be 5 feet tall
[19:29:37] <fenn> http://www.boardofwenches.com/fq70.html
[19:32:15] <Jymmm> LOL --> If it's gherkins, then it's a demonic influence;
[19:33:52] <fenn> "burning tumbleweed" seems to be popular in nouveau-folk lyrics
[19:34:07] <Jymmm> lol
[19:35:00] <Jymmm> well if you live in a desert area there's usually not much to do (per se), but at least you can go shooting, blow up stuff, and go exploring.
[19:35:20] <Jymmm> without damaging anything
[19:35:25] <Jymmm> or anyone
[19:35:45] <fenn> unless you're the guy who straps a jet engine to his car and smashes into a cliff 50 feet in the air
[19:36:15] <Jymmm> ok, other than yourself that is
[20:58:34] <Jymmm> Ever since the last workshop it seems that NOBODY is ever around.... WTH???
[21:28:39] <Jymmm> howdy Imperator_

[21:49:03] <Imperator_> :-)
[21:49:22] <Imperator_> Im waiting for my mesa pci card
[21:50:14] <fenn> er, what about it jymmm?
[21:50:29] <Jymmm> Ah, cool. I got my machine, had issues with it, they are making/sending replacement parts.
[21:50:35] <Jymmm> fenn you want CAM shit right?
[21:51:08] <fenn> i want sample algorithm code, or at least an explanation of how the algorithm works
[21:51:20] <fenn> waterline, feature recognition, etc
[21:51:33] <Jymmm> fenn look at the site
[21:54:54] <fenn> okay i read the tutorial, looked at the book contents, looked at the software.. could you be a little more specific?
[21:55:38] <fenn> CAM in my mind doesn't mean holding your hand to put a hole here or a slot there
[21:56:08] <fenn> it means taking a 3d shape in some random CAD format and turning it into a toolpath in g-code
[21:56:34] <fenn> possibly using drilling codes or threading codes as well
[21:57:27] <Jymmm> He has links to various resources. I mean you are not going to found what you want as te #1 hit off of google, you'll have to dig thru a bunch of crap to get close to what you want, email ppl and ask questions, etc. I came up with a bunch of relative results yesterday and today. at least look to see if anythign is useful. It's not gonna be hitting the book store to find a book that says "CAM algo's"
