[17:31:45] <skunkworks> Just this once .. here's the log: http://www.linuxcnc.org/irc/irc.freenode.net:6667/emcdevel/2010-09-21.txt
[18:12:22] <micges> hello
[18:12:55] <micges> today I've tested two exactly same machines
[18:15:05] <micges> I've run program with rectangle with rounded corners
[18:15:25] <micges> on one machine G64 P0.01 Q0 works (smooth move between arcs and lines)
[18:16:08] <micges> on second there was stop on each arc->line line->arc
[18:17:02] <micges> I've described this observation earlier, but even now I can't find any good reason for this
[18:42:05] <jepler> I'd investigate tp->tolerance, tc->tolerance. do they have a different value than expected (.01)? if so, when does the value get set wrong?
[18:42:50] <jepler> tpClear sets the tolerance to 0.0 and depends on a call to tpSetTermCond which should happen after executing the G64 P.01 Q0 line (SET_MOTION_CONTROL_MODE canon call going through all the layers)
[18:43:04] <jepler> I'm not sure when tpClear is called
[18:44:14] <jepler> but a little searching around in the source code will let you find it
[19:00:16] <micges> jepler: thanks for tips

[22:16:02] <Jymmm> The EMC Fest for 2009 will be a stand alone event in Wichita, KS because of the unfortunate cancellation of this year's CNC Workshop. We all hope the CNC Workshop will resume next year under the combined auspices of Roland Friestad (the original host) and The Digital Machinists magazine.
[22:16:02] <Jymmm> This year's EMC fest will be hosted by:
[22:16:02] <Jymmm> MPM INc. (Stuart Stevenson)
