[01:23:54] <skunkworks> Hi cradek
[01:24:13] <skunkworks> crazy here :) (fest time)
[01:24:51] <cradek> fest?
[01:25:01] <skunkworks> catfish days this weekend.
[01:25:38] <cradek> oh some kind of fishing event?
[01:25:57] <skunkworks> No - more of a beer drinking - catfish eating event. mostly
[01:26:08] <skunkworks> bands and carney workers.
[01:26:09] <skunkworks> ;)
[01:26:25] <cradek> oh I see
[01:27:29] <skunkworks> How are things?
[01:27:54] <cradek> fine - I probably broke emc/trunk a bit though
[01:28:13] <skunkworks> berry is getting his stitches out monday. He seems to be healing very good. (going stir crazy)
[01:28:18] <skunkworks> 9 axis?
[01:28:26] <cradek> good, hope he's back to normal soon
[01:28:35] <cradek> yeah I merged the 9 axis stuff today
[01:28:43] <skunkworks> brave ;)
[01:28:55] <cradek> yeah, maybe so
[01:28:55] <skunkworks> is there an undo button?
[01:29:31] <cradek> haha
[01:29:39] <cradek> yeah there is something like that in cvs I guess
[01:30:19] <skunkworks> I was hoping to hook up the big servo this weekend.. but I ended up refilling a friends air conditioning freon in his car.
[01:30:31] <skunkworks> I am () this close.
[01:30:37] <cradek> you do AC?
[01:31:03] <cradek> (if os, how's your stock of R12?)
[01:31:07] <skunkworks> Just refills every once in a while.
[01:31:46] <skunkworks> heh - I don't have any.. honestly I would try 134a..
[01:32:05] <skunkworks> Done a few and they seem to work. Should replace the seals though.
[01:32:25] <cradek> it doesn't cool as well in the same size system, does it?
[01:32:42] <skunkworks> right - but in cars I don't notice the difference.
[01:32:54] <cradek> that's interesting to know
[01:33:21] <cradek> I got rid of my R12 car a couple years ago, but my brother still drives one (with dead AC)
[01:33:38] <skunkworks> nothing to lose really
[01:33:48] <skunkworks> and 12 is like gold.
[01:33:57] <cradek> yeah
[01:35:11] <skunkworks> sort of a jack of all trades - master of none. not really that good at any one thing.
[01:35:21] <cradek> :-) sure you're not
[01:35:27] <skunkworks> I wing it.
[01:36:29] <cradek> me too. our skill at winging it is what makes us appear smart
[01:37:53] <skunkworks> I was actually talking to my wife about that.. Some people go into - lets say 'accunting' and that is what they do. they are really good at it. Know there shit. I don't have one thing that I can say I am really good at. - Ok 'trouble shooting' I would have to say. I think that is what gives us the edge.
[01:38:07] <skunkworks> their
[01:38:26] <cradek> yeah, people who can do good systematic troubleshooting are very rare
[01:38:48] <jmkasunich> I think thats the reason my boss keeps me around
[01:38:48] <skunkworks> or knowing where to find the 'answer'.
[01:39:00] <skunkworks> if you don't know
[01:39:15] <skunkworks> :)
[01:42:16] <skunkworks> having some idea how everything works helps also.
[01:44:58] <skunkworks> I still get a kick out of this http://youtube.com/watch?v=TuhYd9L_d7w
[01:45:19] <jmkasunich> ;-)
[01:45:47] <skunkworks> I am a hack compared to jmkasunich trouble shooting know how.
[01:45:50] <skunkworks> :)
[01:46:12] <skunkworks> jmkasunich: did you say they have more of these probably?
[01:46:34] <jmkasunich> more of what?
[01:46:39] <cradek> with customer success as our primary focus, work has been proceeding on the crudely-conceived idea ...
[01:47:06] <skunkworks> video satires
[01:47:07] <jmkasunich> marketing bullshit videos? I doubt it
[01:59:34] <Skullworks-PGAB> http://youtube.com/watch?v=pbVY5teBzlg&mode=related&search=
[02:00:18] <Skullworks-PGAB> note the topic of the next issue
[02:14:56] <skunkworks> uh - yah. nice find.
